Scope of cover
This policy covers damage occurring within 30 days after the operation as a result of:
- sudden death resulting from the operation
- emergency destruction resulting from the operation
This policy cannot be taken out for life-saving operations (e.g. colic operations). Our acceptance department will in each situation determine whether or not it is possible to insure the risk for you. This depends on many factors.

Compensation
The compensation is 100% of the insured value of your horse.
Premium
The maximum insured value is € 45,000, unless your horse is already insured with us for a higher value under a policy with a tacit renewal clause. You pay a single premium for the entire duration of this insurance.
