Scope of cover
This policy covers damage occurring within 30 days after castration due to:
- sudden death resulting from the castration
- emergency destruction resulting from the castration.
According to standard practice, this risk is insured up to the 2nd year of life if your horse is insured under a basic policy and has normally developed sexual organs.
This policy is therefore intended for horses that are not insured or are more than 2 years old.
Compensation
The compensation is 100% of the insured value of your horse.
Premium
The premium for this policy is 1.6% of the insured value of your horse.
The maximum insured value is € 45,000, unless your horse is already insured with us for a higher value under a policy with a tacit renewal clause. You pay a single premium for the entire duration of this insurance.
