The basic policy offers compensation in the event of the sudden death of your horse.
You can add the risk of permanent disability.
There are six types of basic insurance, which cover progressively higher risks:

Important note! When you take out a supplementary sickness insurance it covers the same risks as under the basic policy. This means that if you decide not to include lameness under the basic policy, the costs of any examinations or treatment relating thereto cannot be insured, whatever your choice of sickness insurance. From the time when your horse reaches the age of 20 years, the current basic policy is changed to accident insurance. Any supplementary sickness insurance will therefore be terminated. Furthermore, in most cases the insured value will thereby be reduced. You will in all cases receive written notice from us before this change comes into effect.
