The premium rates for Hippo Zorg policies are given below.
These percentages and amounts are annual premiums (excluding costs and insurance tax).
The percentages are calculated on the insured value of your horse/pony (or saddle, horse-drawn vehicle, etc.).
The minimum premium is €30 per annum. If you have only saddle insurance, the minimum premium is €40 per annum.

Important note
- Trotters/racehorses can be insured only on the basis of death insurance (premium 5.25% per annum). It is not possible to take out a supplementary policy in this case.
- *Premium surcharge: From the time when the horse reaches the age of 15 years, a premium surcharge of 1% is calculated on the basic policy.
